Waves Crash

Waves crashing, Thunder rumbles, Hiding within, Hiding from all. So trapped, Despite the help, Not wanting to beg— Not for food, Not for peace.

So the waves crash, The wind howls, Soul unsettled, Heart hurting. Who protects the rock, When the rock needs? When will smiles Cast brightness, No longer forced?

Waves crash, Making the mask To hide behind. All seen is beauty, As waves crash Without mercy, Slowly breaking the rock. None see, Not anymore. Hidden too well As waves crash.

I would love to hear from you!
