Well it is almost midnight here and I have three chapters done and the fourth starting to form. I have a bit of minor work to do on each but that is mostly formatting. Apparently I did the hyper fixation thing and just kept going. While Delilia is the lead female character there is a reason for her journey to be so hard. Now if that will become clear this week or not, well lets leave it to the characters to tell us their story. Thank you to the individual who pointed out I changed writing point of view a few chapters in. I have noted that for when I go through and do the editing aspect…. that will be interesting to say the least lol.
I am going to close my laptop though and go and read a book (oh the irony of the fact the book I am going to start today is shifter based. To funny). Hopefully with my mind having had it’s fill I hope of ideas until tomorrow I can get some good sleep tonight cause two longer chapters and one shorter should have made my mind a bit on the jello side. It sure had a bit of a shock for me in chapters 22-23 it shall be interesting what comes next.
I get why so many authors talk of their characters as if they were real and not a work of fiction. You have to get to know them like you would anyone you ran into and started to build a friendship with. So in a funny way they are real and as I try to process all I have written already today it is information overload and I wrote the darn chapters. Though to be fair I did keep letting my drinks go cold and forget to eat again so that might not be helping. I did learn though to keep finger foods like peanuts near by so I at least get something in my system as I go on typing sprees.
I would love some feed back, ways to improve. Things you would like to see happen maybe in this book or another as this one is turning into a series. There is just to much information going through my head to fit in one book not by far. I have to do some new character bio’s in meet the characters. We have also yet to have any word from the New Moon Pack make an appearance so I think we still have a fair bit to go with this first book.
Hard to believe this came from a writing prompt to get me to write a few paragraphs on a topic. This has kinda taken on a life of it’s own and I am very much enjoying going on this journey with you and this odd ball pack lol
