Today, I want to talk about emojis—those little symbols that have become universal shorthand in our digital conversations. But let me be honest right off the bat—I’m not the kind of person who uses a ton of them. In fact, I tend to forget they even exist most of the time (oops!). To be fair, I also tend to forget my glasses exist… and then, of course, where I put them. Speaking of; excuse me while I go find the things and probably clean the lenses yet again. 😂
OK, I’m back. Where was I? Oh yes, that’s right—today’s topic: emojis!
Recently, I’ve been trying to branch out and experiment with emojis more. For starters, I’ve found that ❄️ is a perfect match for my pen name, Siearra Frost. It adds a frosty, creative touch that feels uniquely me. It’s been fun to play around with it as my signature emoji—it’s a little symbolic, a little mysterious, and very much in line with the chilly vibes I want to convey.
Beyond ❄️, there are a few other emojis I’m beginning to explore. Let me break them down:

A plain 💀 means one strike, 💀 with a red background means two strikes, and 💀 with a black background is my signal to cut contact and move on, no looking back. It’s a little dramatic, sure, but it helps keep toxicity out of my life!

Now, when it comes to heart emojis, I actually take a different approach. I love using the full rainbow of hearts whenever I can! Each one carries its own unique vibe: red for classic love, yellow for warmth and friendship, green for harmony, purple for creativity, black for boldness, blue for calm and coolness, and more. Today, it’s just a few of these—but the variety always brings something special to my messages. Using hearts feels like a universal way to add a touch of connection and care, and it’s something I find myself returning to often.
Still, I’m determined to expand my emoji repertoire, especially as I see how others use them to creatively enhance their texts, captions, and posts. Emojis add a layer of fun and expression, and I think exploring them more could be a valuable way for me to connect with others in a different, more visual language.
As for Bitmoji, it’s been my favorite way to express myself digitally. The app, available on both iOS and Android, offers endless customization options, letting me create a digital avatar that feels uniquely me. The variety is unmatched, and I just wish I could use it on Windows too—it’d be a game-changer for sure!
