Aching Through Time

Pain exists building up
Swelling, consuming
As time flows by
Aching need for One
A kiss and crack echo
Filling silence between breath
Whispered promises
In the darkness exist
Waiting, clawing, piercing
Freedom
The clouds are there
Just reach out
No fear of fall
Knowing safety
Fingers graze the sky
The weight held firm
Never lost, never let go
The complete freedom
Once tasted
Is craved deeply
Nothing else shall do
The tether calls, unseen
A grip
Unyielding, steady, safe
Searching
Seeking
Hunger gnawing,
Growing deeper each breath
Shimmering heat
Flowing freely
The need to strong
Danger lurks in shadows
Shadows to hunt
To taste
Yield to hunger
Once again
That freedom
A bliss none other matches
Utter safety
Acceptance
Softest touch
Catches
No doubts
Only knowing
Do not fear
The shadows little one
The sweet caress
The words rolling deeply
Heart pounding
Pure joy
Acceptance
A gauntlet to find
Always worth trials that abound
Deep within gauntlets
That feel of leather secured
The security is there
Bound, yet free
Held, yet flying
Bound in the hush of deepest night
The fire banked, not extinguished
Not dulled, only waiting
Aching screams within
Do not lose hope little one
Time stretching, painful
Clawing deeper with dawn breaking
Once again
Knowing taste long ago
What’s missing known
Blessing or curse?
Do not lose hope little one
It is hard
The need builds
To much aching
Defeat hovers
Exist for now
Perhaps the shadows
Will have what is sought
Time drags
Sharp in the silence, clawing
Claws sharper, deeper
The emptiness yawns wider
Swallowing building walls
Years stretching
Fighting the pain
Losing as years pass
As time flows
One day
The need to feel
Unseen tether
Woven in the dark
Strong in the light
That guiding grasp
The safety in shadows
Touching the sky
Falling into weightless control
Nothing else exists
A crack and kiss
The caress of leather
Safety and hope
It exists, it is no dream
Keep fighting little one
No matter the pain
No matter the time
little one shall be found
Not lost, forgotten in time
It shall be found
Once again
Not just a taste
Forever his
Always free
Soaring high, secure

A poem from my heart. I will leave what I am writing about up to you to guess. It is in a way a love poem in my usual chaos of course. I am eager to see if anyone gets it.
